Combatting Spam with SpamBayes
August 10, 2009 | Practice Tip Of The Week

It seemed that no matter what I did, I continued to get spam on a daily basis. Our office uses a spam filter on our Exchange server, but spam still seemed to make it through. Well, if you are using Outlook or Thunderbird, I discovered a great piece of FREE software that seems to have solved the problem. SpamBayes is an add-on program that sits between your e-mail server and your e-mail program and actually learns how to identify your spam based on your messages. With a little training, you will soon be reducing that spam to almost nothing.
